FAQ

Why Choose Oadby Yoga?

Our priority is teaching in a safe and encouraging way.  Throughout each class we will demonstrate and talk you through each pose, giving you individual options depending on your level of ability, and show you modifications and variations.

You are encouraged to ask questions and speak about your practice as we go along.  You will not be expected to go into any postures that you are not completely happy with!  Remember this is your practice and I want you to feel completely at ease and to enjoy the classes.

Throughout Yoga practice you will be encouraged to work only to a level which is comfortable to you.  As well as improving your strength and flexibility we will also focus on the correct way to breathe during the exercises, which not only helps with your physical practice but also helps to relieve stress and tension and improves general well-being throughout the body and mind.  You will learn about body alignment which will help to improve your posture, strengthen the core, improve muscle tone and enhance your overall body awareness. Regular Yoga practice will increase your lung capacity, can lower blood pressure and has many other health benefits.  If you are involved in any other sports or activities Yoga can increase your stamina and endurance.

Booking a class

Because we limit the amount of students in each class to 16 it is necessary to book your place in advance

Most people book their places at the beginning of the month which reserves their place in that class and also allows them to take advantage of the monthly pre pay discounts. This also gives us an idea of people attending and how many places are still available in that class

We offer 'taster classes' in all of the classes providing there are places available. These are priced at

£7.00 for the 60 minutes classes and £8.00 for the 90 minutes classes

To book your place or for further information please contact the studio.
